Assessment

Pre-Assessment Interview: This is a two-hour behavioral interview that helps a client couple identify their church planting potential. Because of the costs associated with a full assessment, this pre-assessment helps select clients that have a higher likelihood as candidates for a One-day or Four-day Assessment.

One-day Behavioral Assessment: This one-day intensive combines some of the elements of the Four-day Assessment, including a psychologist interview. It does not include the peer interaction of the full assessment.

Four-day Behavioral Assessment Center: The four-day option explores the presence of the behavioral characteristics of effective church planters through both indirect observation (Interviews) and direct observation (group activities). These are conducted with a minimum of four client couples and a maximum of twelve.

Counseling

In connection with our Assessment Centers, Thrive will connect church planting leaders and spouses to the mental health resources necessary to stay healthy while planting.

Likely in the second year, Thrive will begin offering counseling services for both spouses. This can be offered through distance counseling or counseling referrals.

Support

Spouse Care: Historically most of the care and training are directed at the church planter. However, wives carry so much of the load and are in significant need of support along the way.

Prayer: Providing an ongoing base of prayer for churches and planters. 

Connecting: Monthly meetings over a meal to hear about the joys, victories, and trials.

Guideposts: Helping church planters know what to expect as they see the church unfolding. Guideposts also serve to give the plant strategic goal to target:

• Templates of expected stages of development.

• Strategy with a church plant team about expected stages of development.

Developing Leadership Pipelines

Facilitating the creation of a Leadership Pipeline that leads to continuous training and multiplication of leaders.

Includes sample customizable templates to assist you in mapping out your leadership development plan as a church or organization.
